Dear people walking down the pavement when I am going to and from work.
I know you want to walk beside your partner, or as a family, or in groups, and I know that I am just one single person who doesn't require as much room as you do. However, last time I checked, I have just as much right to walk on the pavement as you do, no matter how large your group is. It should not mean that I have to walk in driveways and in the road when I need to get past you.
Now, people who make a concious effort to make room, I have no argument with. But on the way home today there was this family of five going in the opposite direction. The pavement up this road is not exactly wide, but there is plenty of room to go in single file, or even in tight pairs if there is someone else coming up the other side. The dad was nearest me and he - and they - made no effort to move so I had enough room to get past. The last house at the end of the road has this large driveway (probably two houses worth) and I was lucky that I passed them at that point. Perhaps that's why they didn't think they had to move, because they knew I could walk in the driveway.
But I stand by my case. I have as much right to the pavement as anyone else does, no matter how many of them there are.

I was in a corner shop today and I saw a cake that was called 'The Cake That Built the Car' as in the cake car from the Skoda advert. They decided to sell sponge cakes

I didn't buy one, but I was just surprised to see it!

So as some of you may know, I'm off on holiday to visit a mun in the US from the 24th of July, through to the 18th of September *BOUNCE*
I will have net access, but don't expect me to be on an awful lot and I certainly won't be starting any chats during this time. Things will get posted though, the mun and I have bunnies *G*
So I hope everyone has a wonderful summer. Drink lots and wear sun lotion, and I'll see you all again in the Autumn :)
